A surrealist mother of two boys. Hamad and Marwan. Passionate about Art & Design and recently took my love of cooking more seriously.
When I was younger cooking was more of a hobby but in the past 3 years it has grown dramatically in me. Obviously since I haven’t had time to hold a paintbrush since I got married, I had to bring art to something else I enjoyed until once again my fingers caress a clean canvas!

Coming from an artistic family, bringing creativity into my culinary aspect of life just seemed natural although at the beginning taking that risk made me nervous.
Raising a toddler and a baby isn’t an easy job and only now do I know what my mother went through when she raised 6 of us and now she’s even helping with my boys!
I thank Allah for having such a loving family!

Having my very picky family and my husband Ahmed’s recently evolved food palette, I started being more daring with my ingredients.

My mission is to bring creativity into the home kitchen where mothers usually are and also to add tastes to already existing recipes and making them more adapted to my Emirati background and my taste.

Oh and by the way, my name is Arwa A. Lootah… and yes the A has to be there!
